Staying on top of data privacy news can be a challenge. That's why members of the Data Collaboration Community have joined forces to build a free app that enables privacy pros, journalists, lawmakers, students, compliance teams, and laywers to discover, bookmark, and share the most important data privacy stories from around the globe.
The app enables users to find stories by recency and location (including regions such as US states) and by selecting one or more tags, including:
Children
Surveillance
Healthcare
Enforcement (fines)
Data breach
Identity
Location
Biometric
AdTech
More
Each story is presented in the form of a card that shows its date, location, source, and a short summary:
Users can engage with individual news stories in multiple ways:
View - click to access the original news item
Bookmark - save stories for instant future reference
Share - share cards via email, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook
Members are also encouraged to use the 'Feedback' tab to rate the app for usefulness and suggest improvements. 💡
The Data Privacy Newsfeed app is intended for use by researchers and professionals who benefit from instant access to the most critical stories from around the globe:
If you would like to enter stories for a specific topic or geographic region, please send an email to community@datacollaboration.org and be sure to add "Newsfeed editor" in the subject line. We return the favour by displaying a free banner for your organization within the application.
This application was built collaboratively using the Zero-Copy Integration framework and all data is by our Data Collaboration Policy that includes a pioneering Data Owner Bill of Rights.
