AMA: Data Privacy Legislation Grid

Data privacy, data protection, data compliance, data management, and privtech startup folks are invited to join iOWN community members for this interactive session.

This AMA-syle event will formally introduce the Data Privacy Legislation Grid, the latest free resource in the iOWN Toolkit.  

The session will be hosted by Jeff Jockisch, iOWN community member and Data Privacy Researcher with Privacy Plan.  

The Grid is managed as a collaborative resource and attendees will be invited to volunteer to curate elements of the grid for which they have a special interest or specific knowledge e.g. laws for children, survelliance laws, California laws, etc. 

iOWN is a free community operated by the Data Collaboration Alliance, a nonprofit organization dedicated to a future where all information is fully-controlled by its rightful owner.  

We see control as a necessary condition for encouraging Data Collaboration, a form of data sharing that enables data owners (citizens, consumers, small businesses, supply chain partners) to retain control of their information while simultaneously accelerating digital innovation projects.
